Seed nut bread

This recipe is from no other than one of my favorite designers and wellness moguls Norma Kamali. Her and I share a common weakness for bread. This is for the bread lover in you.

Makes 1 loaf

Ingredients

1/2 cup almonds

1 cup sunflower seeds

1 1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup flax seed

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp chia seeds

3 tbsp psyllium husk powder

Ginger and coconut

3 tbsp coconut oil

1 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, place all dry ingredients

  2. Add water, knead until firm.

  3. Place into rectangle bread pan. Use a spoon or spatula to press dough firmly

  4. let sit for at least 2 hours or overnight

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 mins. remove from pan and bake upside down for 30 mins

  6. Enjoy with good quality olive oil.
