energy balls

Reduce fatigue and stimulate energy with adaptogenic herbs, get protein from the almonds and calcium from sesame seeds.

Makes 8-10 balls (1 ball per serving )

Ingredients

1 cup finely ground raw, unsalted almonds ( Soak overnight then peel. Discard almond peel.)

2 tablespoons shredded coconut

2 tablespoons Ashwagandha powder

2 tablespoons Shatavari powder

2 tsp ginger powder

2 tsp cinnamon powder

1/8tsp pink himalayan salt

1/3 cup raw honey

2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

2 tablespoons ghee or coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine almond, sesame seeds, coconut, herbs and salt. Mix well.

  2. Add honey and ghee (or coconut oil). Mix well.

  3. Using your hands, roll in to 15-18 small balls.

  4. Freeze for 2 hours before serving

  5. Eat one ball in the morning and at midday

  6. Can be stored for up to 3 months in airtight container in the freezer.
