Nettle Mineral Tonic Mocktail

A Cooling, Rejuvenating Elixir for Hair & Inner Radiance. This Nettle Mineral Tonic offers a delicious, easy way to nourish the body, soothe inflammation, and support radiant, resilient hair—one sip at a time.

Why Nettle?

Revered across both Western herbalism and Ayurveda, Nettles is mineral-rich and energetically balancing. Its high iron, silica, calcium, and vitamin C content support hair strength, follicle resilience, and circulation. Nettle also cools excess Pitta, gently detoxifies the blood, and strengthens the body’s natural rejuvenation systems.

Ingredients

*Serves 2*

- 1 heaping tablespoon dried nettle leaf

- 2 cups boiling spring water

- 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (to taste)

- Juice of ½ fresh lime

- 1 tsp aloe vera juice (optional – cooling & Pitta-soothing)

- Mint leaves or cucumber slices (optional – garnish)

- Sparkling water or coconut water to top or your favorite non-alcoholic sparkling wine

Instructions

1. Infuse the Nettle

Add the dried nettle to a heatproof jar or teapot. Pour 2 cups boiling water over the herb, cover, and allow it to steep for 4–8 hours (or overnight). This slow infusion extracts the full spectrum of minerals and phytonutrients.

2. Build Your Tonic

Once the infusion is cool and strained, combine:

- ¾ cup chilled nettle infusion

- Lime juice

- Aloe vera juice (if using)

- Raw honey or maple syrup

Top with sparkling water, coconut water or non-alcoholic sparkling wine for a light effervescence.

3. Serve

Garnish with fresh mint or cucumber slices and serve over ice.
