cacao truffles

Serves: 4

Beneficial for Vata and Pitta

Ingredients:

Hemp seeds - 2 tbsp

Cacao powder - 2 tbsp ( 1tbsp to cover outside of balls)

Walnuts or Almonds - ½ cup

Flax meal - 4 tbsp

Raw honey - Quantity sufficient

  1. Dry roast nuts and dice them and add to the other ingredients in a medium size bowl.

  2. Pour honey little by little and mix well till mixture forms into a ball.

  3. Roll dough out till to approximately 1-inch thickness. Cut 1-inch size and form into a ball shape.

  4. On a small plate add 1tbsp cacao powder and roll the balls to cover them.

  5. Place in refrigerator to set for 20 mins. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
