cacao truffles
Serves: 4
Beneficial for Vata and Pitta
Ingredients:
Hemp seeds - 2 tbsp
Cacao powder - 2 tbsp ( 1tbsp to cover outside of balls)
Walnuts or Almonds - ½ cup
Flax meal - 4 tbsp
Raw honey - Quantity sufficient
Dry roast nuts and dice them and add to the other ingredients in a medium size bowl.
Pour honey little by little and mix well till mixture forms into a ball.
Roll dough out till to approximately 1-inch thickness. Cut 1-inch size and form into a ball shape.
On a small plate add 1tbsp cacao powder and roll the balls to cover them.
Place in refrigerator to set for 20 mins. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
